Why do most of students want to study abroad?

Nowadays, most of students want to study abroad. Some people study abroad after finishing high school. Others people study abroad to get master degree after they graduate university. Most will go oversea to study if they have opportunities. There are three reasons to study abroad. These reasons include to get international degree, to be independent, and to learn new culture.

The first reason is to get international degree. Al most people always want to get international degree in development country because that is better than national degree. They think foreign country is better than their country so they want to get their degree there. When they come to the foreign country, they can learn many things in development country. Foreign country had a good education and environment so they study there where they can get degree is better than their country. For example, North American and Europe are development country where they can get good international degree. Furthermore, they can get a good job when they study in foreign country. They will improve their resume because they have international degree in development country; they can be easier to get a good job. So they can get high salary and they have comfortable life. For example, there are two people apply IBC company. One of two has an international degree that is gotten in the US and another has degree that is gotten in his or her country; as a result the first person will be had job. Another reason, foreign systems education is better than their systems education. Because foreign country is a development country so they have a good systems education. For example, North America, Australia, French, Britain are countries that are good system education on the world.

The second reason is more independent when they study in foreign country. When they go oversea, that mean they come to the different country. There are opportunities that they can be more confident than they live in their country. They study in their country and they usually live with their family so they can not have independent life. But they go to study in different country and they can live independence. They will do all things by themselves. They can develop their ability that is very good. For example, they have to cook by themselves, to find part time job and to live by themselves. Day pass day, they will be more confident in their decisions. Another thing, they can be more freedom. Maybe they live alone or live with American but they also are freedom. They can do anything that they want to do. Nobody take care them. They can decide anything by themselves and does that follow their opinion.

Finally, they can learn new culture in different country. They can learn the new way to live in foreign country. That is so good for them when they come back their country. Maybe the new way is better than old way. For example, they come to the US to study MBA degree; they can learn the way thinking of American about something in their field business. The way is good way that American uses to solve problems in some cases. So they can use that in their country. Moreover, they will know another culture that is interesting. They can know about native people, culture and something like that. Such as, they come to the US so they know about American, the way to live in the US. Another thing is a good opportunity to learn about native language. They can not study language in anywhere that is better than native country. They can meet and speak with native people anywhere, anytime. For example, they go to the US and they can improve their English. They can speak with American everyday if they want to do that.

To sum up, there are many reasons to study abroad but these are two important reasons to go oversea such as to get international degree, to be independent, and to learn new culture. So, almost students want to study abroad in development country.

Thanksgiving is coming up soon and I am most thankful for three things in my life. The first of all, I want to thank my parents and two older brothers. My parents gave me a lot of things such as my life, money, anything. They took cared me when I was born until now. They gave me a happy family. My older brother helped me during in my life. The second, I want to thank my all teachers who taught me from elementary to now. They did not give my life for me but they gave much knowledge to live. They taught me a lot of good things. It Is Okay to Lie

I think you can tell lie in some circumstances. The first of all, you can tell lie to help someone. Example, my friend has emergency and he need help. At that time, I do not have time so I have a lot of thing to do but I can arrange all things. So I told him, I had time to help him. I think I told lie but that is ok. The second, you can tell lie to protect yourself. Sometimes, you go to work late because you have to do something or you wake up late. Does it matter what strangers think of you?

I don’t care about stranger’s thinking of me that it doesn’t matter. The first reason, I think the stranger is a person whom they do not influence about my life. So I do not care about them. The second reason, if you care about stranger, you can not have decision by yourself. Sometimes, you want to do some things but stranger tell that you do not do them. And you will be confused when you care about that. Finally, you feel that is correct, you can do it. You do not need to care anything. I think there are many bad people around your life so they can give you a wrong advice. You do not think about that. To sum up, it does not matter what strangers think of me.

One Storming Night

A young couple lived in a small Northeastern city. The wife worked for a technical company far away from home and she usually got home after dusk. It was a stormy day. The rain had been falling really hard most of the day. Some electric poles had been broken down by the heavy rain and wind. The husband got home around 5pm and prepared dinner as usual. He expected his wife to get home around 8pm like she always did. From the kitchen, he could hear the noise from her footsteps. He called out his wife’s name but didn’t get any response. He went outside and looked but nobody was there. When he came back, his wife was sitting on the sofa. The dinner started out like every other dinner. One thing that was different from this dinner was that she didn’t talk at all. He thought she must have been very tired from a long day at work. He was angry, but he decided to forget about it and go to bed early. They went to the bed after the quick meal. It was raining very hard outside and the room was completely dark. He almost fell asleep, but he could still feel his wife’s touch. It was so cold when she touched him. Her hand felt like ice. He decided to hold her to keep her warm. However, the wife’s body felt very wet. He wondered why her body was so wet. He just thought she went out into the rain after the meal. When he woke up next day, he quickly went into the bathroom. Then he turned on the radio to listen news in the morning. Suddenly, he heard there was an accident last night and one woman died. The woman who died had the same name as his wife! He ran into the bedroom and he couldn’t believe his eyes. The place where she slept was empty. There was just a pile of blood.

HALLOWEEN DACING PARTY

ALP office was celebrated the Halloween Dancing Party at TSU on last night Saturday. I came there late and I did not have costume. I think most of people had costume when they came party so I was worry about that. Then, I called my friend and asked her about costume. She told me some people did not have costume the same me. I feel better and enjoy party. The party was celebrated in small room. There were food and drink that was not bad. I met many my classmate there such as Choae, Peach, Ann, Ozy, Van, Tom, Dung and some ALP students. Every body was excited to dance with their friends. Then, I met some ALP teacher such as Mr Ewing. I enjoyed with my friends that was so fun. And I took many pictures with my friends, my teachers. I stayed there until 11:30 pm, after that I would come back my home. This is the first time that I enjoy Halloween party so I feel so happy and interested. I hope I will have opportunity to enjoy Halloween party again on next year at Fullerton. To sum up, Halloween party was so excited and a lot of fun.

LASVEGAS

Las Vegas is an interesting place and a city that never sleeps in the US. I visited Las Vegas one time when I just came to the US. Las Vegas also is a city that is built on the desert. There are many beautiful hotels in Las Vegas because a lot of people want to visit there and they can stay these hotels. Las Vegas is famous with a lot of casinos that is interesting place to visit and to play gamble. Another thing, Las Vegas has Eiffel tower and Statue of Liberty as you see them in Paris, New York. When I went to Las Vegas, I went around downtown by bus and taxi. After that, I walk to some beautiful places to take picture. I saw Water War as that happened in universal. I also tried to play gamble “let it rice” one time to know it in Las Vegas. Lucky to me, I won it and got $1000 but I think I will not be lucky again. So, I stopped it and went out to go many places. In the evening, Las Vegas is so beautiful with a lot of light on the street and anywhere such as hotel, casino, etc. to sum up, Las Vegas is a beautiful and interesting place that you should visit at least one time when you come to the US.

SOCCER AND VOLLEY BALL

Soccer and volley ball are popular sport on the world. Many people enjoy playing them. Both of all are sport but there are some differences between soccer and volley ball. The first difference is people per team. In soccer, there are 11 people per team when they play in the match. In volley ball, there are 6 people per team but beach volley ball have 2 people per team that is so different. The second difference is rule. Soccer match only has 90 minutes that include two parts. When one team can score more than another team that the team wins. On the other hand, in volley ball, the first team to reach 25 points wins the set and the team wins 3 set that the team wins in the match. Finally, there are many differences in part body. In soccer, players only use foot. Beside, the goalkeeper can use any body part in the goal. However, players in volley ball use their hand to play in the match. To sum up, soccer and volley ball are interesting sports that many people like them but they have few differences.

Both of all Mc-Donal’s and In-N- Out are also fast food but there are few different between them. The first of difference is price. Mc-Donal’s is more expensive than In-N-Out such as one hamburger is more $3. In n out is cheaper than mc donal’s such as one hamburger is more $1. The second of difference is products. Mc-Donal’s have a lot of kind fast food such as hamburger, cheese burger, chicken, salad, egg, etc. In-N-Out have some fast food such as hamburger, cheese burger. Another thing is Mc-Donal’s is more well-know than In-N-Out. The recipe to make beef noodle soup in Viet Nam

Beef noodle soup is my favorite dish in Viet Nam. Beef noodle is not only famous food in Viet Nam but also is known in many countries on the world. It is very delicious food. To have it you need something such as slice of beef, fresh noodle, yellow onion, ginger, beef bone, cloves, tablespoons salt, tablespoons fish sauce, yellow rock sugar, spearmint, basil, thorny cilantro, red sauce and black sauce. The first step, you boil water and put beef bone with a little salt. After that you remove them and cover them with cold water. The second step, you grill yellow onion and ginger on the flame. You discard any flyaway onion and ginger skin. The thirst step, you boil them with water and add yellow rock sugar until high temperature. During this, you should add salt, sugar and spice that you feel good. As you have a broth delicious for beef noodle soup. Then you put fresh noodle in the bowl and arrange slices beef in front of. Next you use the hot broth to pour this bowl and you have beef noodle soup. Finally, you should eat beef noodle soup with basil, thorny cilantro, red and black sauce. To sum up, this way is easy to make beef noodle soup at home.

You want to lose 10 pounds in two days that is difficult so you must do hard exercise and have special eating in this time. You only have 48 hours to do that. The first, you must run a lot of miles until you feel tired, you can walk. You remember during you do exercise, you should wear coat in order to have many sweat. The second, you must be careful about meal. You only eat a little cake, vegetable and orange juice. HOW TO FIND / CHOOSE A MARRIAGE PARTNER

I think to find a marriage partner that is not easy. We can do that follow some below steps. The first step, you should go to your school, party or some places and you can make friend a lot of people. You can choose some people that suitable for you and has a relationship with them. The second step, you should keep touch with them. After that, you often connect them such as go some where to drink coffee, to eat some food or to enjoy activities. The third step, you will choose two friends that you feel good when you meet her or him. Then you often keep touch with this person in order to know many information and temper of this person. Next, you choose one person that has the same interested with you, and you feel happy when you talk or go with this person. THREE TYPES PEOPLE IN THE WORLD

There are three types of people in this world. The first type is confident people. These people can think about good something and they will do it. Sometimes, they have some difficulties or risks but they can pass it. They are good talent that helps them successful in their life. For example, they are good managers they can run well business in their company. Therefore, they will be big successful in their life. The second type is idle people. They do not have decision about difficult problem when it happens. So they can solve it and they are difficult to achieve their goal. They only do to follow plan that is created by someone. Describe my most embarrassing moment.

I am unforgotten my emoticon that is the most embarrassing moment for me. When I was study middle school, I studied very hard. But I didn’t know why, the classmate always told a bad thing about my mother when he met me. Maybe he didn’t like me but I didn’t do anything for him or kidding with him. One that day, he told a bad thing about my mother and I can’t sit down under a stream abuse so I fight him to his face. His nose was a little blood. He told my teacher. Both of all must stand up in front of the school yard. Most of pupils see me and I feel embarrassing. I fright my classmate in the class that is not good. Because I was so angry, I can’t… and I did that. I thought I did wrong way, actually I should told with my teacher, I shouldn’t fright my classmate in my class. Halloween

Do you know Halloween? I think most of people know Halloween that is holiday celebrated on the night of October 31^st. Halloween originated the name of Samhain. Halloween is a scare holiday. There are many activities in this holiday such as trick or treating, costume parties, bonfires, ghost tours, haunted houses and horror films, etc. the color of Halloween is black and orange. Image of Halloween is pumpkin, ghost picture and scare picture. In the holiday Halloween, everyone can enjoy scare activities, watch horror film or go somewhere that is scare place. Many people organized their house with a lot of scare picture in the front of. In the night holiday, the children will go out and get some candies of their neighbors’ house. In sum up, Halloween is a holiday that has a lot of fun and scares. This holiday is popular in some country such as Ireland, United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom. My experience at Universal Studio

The first time, I enjoy Universal Studio that is an interesting tour. When I came there, I took picture with ALP students, 4C class and my friend in the frond of this place. After that, I went around and took many pictures with my friend. There were a lot of game in there that is interesting game such as mummy, Jurassic park, special effects, backdraft, ttudio tour, water world and shrek 4D, house of horrors, etc. the first, I enjoyed house of honors. It is dark when I went inside. That is scare for many people. Then, I went to the Jurassic park and enjoy there. I had to get line so long in there because many people enjoy it. the Jurassic park had a lot of trees. I feel fresh when I came here. I could see dinosaur that huge animal in long time ago. They could move around and had sound. I took some picture about them. Next to, I enjoy special and back draft. After finish them, I went to Chinese food with my friends and found some foods to eat, because we were so hungry. Chinese food is delicious for lunch. All this were some game in lower lot. So we continue going up in order enjoy difference game. I feel relaxed to saw Shrek 4D that is funny. I like water world near ticket booths. That was a fight between oceans of thrills. Some people were so wet when enjoy this game. I was lucky, I were not wet so I sit so far. Finally, I went to some souvenirs store. When I came back gate, I met my composition teacher and took photo with him. We came back ALP office at 7:35 pm. I think, Universal Studio is a wonderful place. I could not forget this place in my mind.

There are several reasons to eat fruits and vegetables

We need not only have beef, pork but also have fruits and vegetables in our meal every day. There are several reasons to eat fruits and vegetables such as healthy benefit, many kind vitamins and maintain healthy blood pressure, etc. The first, fruits and vegetables have many healthy benefits. Some fruits and vegetables can protect against certain cancers like this mouth, stomach and colon rectum cancer. They can reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Benefit of eating grapefruit, apple is losing weight so we can grow down the risk of cancer. The second reason, there are many vitamin in fruits and vegetables such as vitamin A, vitamin E. Vitamin A keeps eyes and skin healthy. Vitamin E helps protect vitamin A. some vegetables provide vitamin A such as carrot, tomato, peas, potato and some vegetables provide vitamin E such as pumpkin, peas, green bean. Another reason, fruits and vegetables may maintain healthy blood pressure because they provide many potassium that is stable blood pressure. Vegetable and fruit sources of potassium include white potatoes, white beans, and tomato products. In sum up, these are some important reasons in order to eat usually many fruits and vegetables in our meal.

WEDDING IN MY COUNTRY

Wedding is a special day in my country. Before wedding day, they have to prepare at least one month. The bride and groom must take photos together and buy a lot of thing for their wedding. They buy many clothes, jewelry and another thing that is necessary. They usually have a big picture that they take photos together for the wedding day. In the wedding day, the groom wears a jacket and pant, the bride wears a long dress. The color depend them. And the bride makes a white flower on the head. In the morning, the groom must go to the bride home and make the ceremony at her home. The groom’s family has to pick bride and bride’s family up to his home. Then the festivity begins at his home. There is music during in the festivity. Most of the wedding guest are invited to the festivity that they will be congratulation to the groom and bride. After that, they will have a party with the groom’s family. In the festivity, the wedding guest will give the money or gift to groom, bride. One thing is special that the couple has to go every guest table to say thank you and cheer with them. Finally, the festivity finishes during funny of everybody and they leave. To sum up, the wedding is the most special and fun day for the couple.

Today, I was selected as a possible juror (someone who performs jury duty). However, the court decided that they already had enough jurors. Part of me wishes that I could have participated in the case to see what it is like in the courtroom. However, part of me is glad that I don't have to miss class (because of my wonderful students and also the money).
In America, the legal system includes lawyers, judges, and jurors. How does the legal system work in your country? Who decides whether a person is innocent or guilty?

THE LEGAL SYSTEM IN MY COUNTRY

In my country, the legal system is same in the US. There are jurors, judges and lawyers in a court. Besides, there are some people whom they have a relative with defendant, prosecutor or they want to enjoin. When someone does wrong something that is serious or dangerous to community, they will be wrongdoers and are trialed by legal system. In the court, there will have jurors, judges, lawyers, defendant, prosecutor and some another people. Then, prosecutor and defendant will explain about themselves in order every one believe them. Defendant is not only having lawyer but prosecutor is also having lawyer. Lawyers are people that they try getting successful for their clients. Maybe, lawyer is very excellent, wrongdoers can fall a little crime or their client wins in the court. After that, the judge and juror listen and ask defendant, prosecutor or wrongdoer, they will discuss together about in fact. Finally, the judge will show penalty for wrongdoer or a lose person’s case. If they do not agree with judge’s penalty, they will have to appeal. In this case, the judge and juror will trial to have the last penalty.

A FRIEND

I think there are many attitudes about a friend. In my option, a friend requires three requirements. First of all, my friend is honest. That is important for me. We usually talk about something such as our life, our job and another thing. If my friend is lie, he will not be my friend. The second, we are sharing our feeling together. Sometimes I am bored or happy, I will share with my friend. So we have to understand together. Actually, in our life, I have a difficult problem, at this time we need have a friend to share feeling or help to pass it. Finally, a friend enjoys the same activities. A friend is difference activities that make you are not funny. You like this activities but your friend like difference activities that you do not enjoy together. SOMETHINGS THAT I DID OVER MY WEEKEND

I regret to say I did not enjoy the Concert Under the Stars. I wanted to join it but I had to pick my friend up at Airport Los Angeles. She is my classmate at university in my country. She went to the US to learn MBA degree. She came to the US at 8 pm at this day so I left my home at 6:30 pm to come LA while the Concert Under the Stars started at 7 pm. Therefore I liked going the soccer field to meet my classmate and enjoy anything but I could not do it. I am bored when I am sorry for the Los Angeles City Tour because I had a party with my uncle. My uncle did not work on the weekend so he came to Irvine with us. He has lived in San Jose. He is a manager in his company so he does not have a lot of time. Sometime he comes here to visit his parents and some relative person. This party is funny and interesting. I met many people whom I did not know them before because I just came to the US. I talk a lot of with my uncle and he also asked me so much about my life in the US. If I were not busy, I would enjoy those trips.

An unforgettable experience in my life

In my life, an unforgettable experience is the special day that I left VietNam to come to the US. Do you know? That day was a day more 2 months ago. Before the special day, I went to bed very late at 2 am because I felt worry. So I could not sleep. Until 3 am, I was tired and I fell on my sleep. In the morning of special day, I got up early at 5 am. I only was sleepy for 3 hours. The first, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. The second, I prepared and checked the last time about my luggage. At this time, everybody in my family also woke up. After that, I went to the Tan San Nhat airport with my family. I just came there, I saw many my friends there. I was so happy. I talked and took a lot of photos with my friends, my family. In order to keep it that is souvenir. My family and my friends did not work to come here with me. My parents were bored and worry. My mother cried so much because she would not see me a long time. My mother loved me a lot of. My father was too but he did not cry so he is a man. I would remember my friend because I could not go to somewhere, did not see for a long time. Then I had to do something for my airplane such as sign in and check my luggage. Before leaving, I felt bored but also felt happy. I was bored because I would leave my family, my friend, my country to come a new country that I have not known many about it yet. I was happy because there were all people come here with me. My emotion was nondescript. I wanted to cry but I could not cry in front of my family and my friends. Finally, I turned around and said bye everybody. I went quickly to my plane gate. That is an unforgettable experience in my life.

My favorite season

My favorite season is spring. In spring, the weather is warm and fresh. It makes me feel healthy and pleasant. Also, there is lunar new year that is wonderful holiday in my country. In this holiday, I have long time vacation with my friend, my family. Maybe, I go to countryside that is funny. Sometime, I go to somewhere with my friend such as Nha Trang Beach, Vung Tau Beach, ect. Beside, in spring, my family is happy because two my old brother come back my home. I can meet all family member. It is really a good time for me.

Letter to my Dean

Dear my Dean,

I am studying at ALP, Cal Fullerton. I am learning 4C level. The office has fun lunch on Wednesday from 11 am to 12:30 pm. This day, I have class from 8:30 am to 9:50 am and from 11:30 am to 3:45 pm, so I have 30 minutes to enjoy fun lunch. I think it is short time to enjoy together. Furthermore, I have short-time class in the morning while I have long-time class in the afternoon and have no time for lunch. So, I feel tired on Tuesday and Thursday. I hope I will have a new schedule that is more suitable for me. For example, I will have long rest time from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. I will feel more comfortable and convenience. I can study better. I believe that my class also agree with me. I hope you can help us. I am looking forward having a new schedule soon.

a person who has made a difference

Nguyen Van An that is not a special name but he is a special person. He lives in Binh Chanh district, Viet Nam. He is 14 years old. He has carried his friend on his back for three years. His friend’s name is Nguyen Duc Tuan. Tuan is a disabled person so he can not go on foot like everyone else. An is Tuan’s classmate. He carries friend on his back every day. That is difficult for many people but he can do it. Because the village where they live is very poor, it does not have a lot public traffic. He has to walk about three miles to go to the school with his friend on his back so he must get up early to pick his friend up. He wants to help his friend to get knowledge. Furthermore, he also helps his friend to study at home. Sometimes, he goes to his house and explains something difficult that his friend doesn’t know yet. Everyone admires his kind heart because there are many classmates, but no one does that. Only he does it. To sum up, he has made many changes in his community.

MY FAVORITE SPORT

Hello! I talk to you something about my favorite sport. It is soccer. Do you known about soccer? It is a sport that is popular on the world. Many country play soccer like national sport such as Brizil, Spanish, French, Italia … one time for four years, there is world cup and many country enjoy it. Soccer also is interesting sport. When the soccer match happen, a lot of people watch it and laugh, cheer, sometime they stand up and to shout for joy. All things look interesting, exciting. Besides, that is sport to get good healthy. When you play soccer, you have to run a lot of. So you can do exercise. If you play soccer every week, you will feel happy and healthful. Another thing, the soccer works group. A team soccer has eleven persons. You can not play soccer alone. Finally, the soccer is popular, interesting, healthful. It also has moral team. So, I like it. That is all!

Introducing Myself

My name is TAI. I come from Viet Nam. I lived in Ho Chi Minh city in Viet Nam. I am 20 years old. I tell something about my family. My family has five people such as my parents, two older brother and me. I graduated economic university in my country in 2006. I just came to the US one month ago. I am living in Irvine, California. My major is business. I will get MBA degree in the future. I like Chinese food and Viet Name food. In my free time, I usually play soccer in the weekend. I watch TV or listen to music in my home. I like go out to drink coffee with my friends. Now, my English is not good so I want to learn a lot of in the US. I want to improve my English better in order to get toefl score.
